Fabulous and well-thought out space designed to give you that experiential knowledge of traditional Middle-Eastern cuisine. From the craggy concrete-like protrusions from the walls and ceiling, to the hanging lanterns, it feels like you are eating a secret meal in a cave with fellow conspirators....lol

The staff were very warm and ready to help even with taking care of the baby car seat. The courtesy is very curated and that felt special. Also, the true sense of the word "waiter" is aptly captured here. Though the restaurant was busy, there was no deficit in the waiting services. So attention to needs was very prompt.

Our orders were direct to the main course. I ordered the Seabass, while my wife ordered the Chargrilled Lamb Chops. The food came with lightning speed, and this was a major concern for me. How do you prepare Seabass and Lamb Chops (Chargrilled for that matter) in 15 minutes? The food was not fresh at all and was clearly frozen or earlier prepared food.

The Seabass order was slightly bland and almost felt it was roasted dry. The typical Mediterranean seafood freshness was lost on this and I was totally disappointed. My wife on the other hand had a tastefully spiced Lamb Chops which compensated for the lack of freshness.

The food also came stuffed unto a rectangular plate which felt like it was not the right size. The veggies were almost spilling over and I wondered why the couldn't serve it in a proper round plate.

Unfortunately, the waiter did not inform me that the Seabass comes with some cinnamon spiced rice. So I ended up ordering mashed potatoes, which felt hastily prepared. It was not whipped properly so tasted grainy and lacked the fine smoothness.

The good thing is that the restaurant requests customers to fill a feedback form before leaving, so I had the opportunity to give my reviews right there.

On the whole, it's a great and pricey restaurant and will likely visit again, probably to taste something else on the rich menu. Be prepared to spend about $30 per meal, but make sure ask the questions on preparation and...

Okay I decided to try this place out after much force from my friends. We got there early enough and there was enough parking available, I don’t see the need for valet service if there was space in front of the building . We paid for that service and I thought that was totally unnecessary. Num 2, immediately we stepped in I noticed there was nobody there and we were the only guest in the whole cave 😁😁 for me that was a red flag 🚩. But we still went ahead to order , hoping it was just because of the time which was by the way 7:45pm. I ordered from the starter menu, i ordered lamb cigar roll and prawn pri pri and it was a disaster!!! My God, I have never eaten a tough prawn before in my life it was as if I was chewing beef. The lamb cigar didn’t have any lamb in it at all. It was all batter and mind you , it’s not the sort of soft crispy batter it was more like dough bread. Hard and pulley 😁 num 3, my friend ordered the lamb from the main menu and a side of their special rice , jeeZ?! It was a sour sight. The lamb was not lambing at all. So, they decided to compensate me with desert by giving me a complimentary cheese cake which was by the way The worst cheesecake I have ever had in my life. Kapadoccia!!! You guys need to stop this and improve on your pricing and quality of the food you serve. It’s a scam!! I will give you a 5 for customer service though. The waiter that attended to us was very polite and he tried to help and showed empathy that we weren’t satisfied but it’s not his fault. Management needs to fix the menu , get good supply, store your food properly and serve fresh food if you want to charge that insane amount of money you guys charge. I had to go get dinner somewhere else because I couldn’t eat anything, and we paid for it,...

I don't like airing out disappointment, especially when it's about food and service. But I think it's important too, in order for each service industry to shape up, especially when it's expensive restaurant. Our experience here is not good at all, we ordered our foods clearly with proper description and confirmation with the waitress so as to get what we came..First thing we didn't like is the seafood platter, there's supposed to be calamari on it, but it wasn't available. Instead of informing us first that it's not available on the platter at that time, the waitress placed the order and we were surprised that no calamari. She then told us that they added more fish as calamari is not available 😒 we were surprised that she made decisions on our behalf. Second, the kebab.. we wanted the one that is hanged, we even ask many times and confirmed that she understood us..when the food came, it was a normal kebab on the plate. We called for manager because I think it was too much already, besides that the lahmacun, described as cheesy something.. has no cheese at all..or maybe i have a wrong expectation.the sauce not good, the seafood platter so dry...the manager however fixed everything, he was friendly and good listener.. after our food we went up to take photos, we were moving quick as we understood it's public place. One of the staff -sioma..was super rude to us. We seated on the set-up table which is reserved, but we told her that we will just take quick photo, with sarcasm, she snubbed and told us she was just doing her job. Hyacinth and Juliet were the only people who treated us as we...

We heard the cacophonies of the rumoured ecstasy. We embarked on a sojourn to verify or vilify the veracity of the acclamations. First, it was the street people of Idowu Taylor graciously pointing towards the place, since Google Map will stop you at 5 buildings before. Need we say that Idowu Taylor is a one-way? So be sure to come in through Adeola Hopewell or Church Gate. At the entrance is the beautiful waterfall cascading in an elegant ambience. Then at the entrance stands the security to ascertain if you booked before coming. You want to book ahead because the questioning is almost embarrassing. Getting in, you are humbled by the beautiful architectural musings from the cave. Music in the background bidding you welcome as the gentle attendants lead you to a reserved table. The music is a little beat too loud and perhaps a far cry from what is expected from a cave. Does your phone have a code scanner? That is how you get the menu and prices. And yes, the prices are a bit upscaled. Do not let the attendants force you in style to desserts, drinks, meals and side meals. Be woke according to thy pocket! Less you leave with a deficit of 30-100k. Some of the meals taste nice and some do not. But I suppose the ambience brings you back and teaches you forgiveness.
