from beginning to end i can mostly say our stay was PLEASANTLY MEMORABLE. i had the pleasure of staying here three different times. first two ova one month time. This current stay just weekend. first stay, i must say wuz the best! i had recently had cancer treatments, i was sssooo weak, had so much discomfort and pain. david in housekeeping was ALWAYS so considerate toward me not feeling well. smelling the cleaning supply from the mop would cause me headache and to vomit. sometime women would come they just did it anyway. i'd be sick most the entire afternoon to early evening. as i was ol'ready very weak. my husbannnn would be so upset. there was another guy in housekeeping who came twice when david was off that was very professional and well manner-he granted me the same mercy as david. that guy caught me at one of my worse days-were i couldn't even walk and my entire body was just in enormous pain. THANK YOU all from the housekeeping, security and front desk for taking the time to speak with me, GENIUELY ask how i wuz feelin when seeing each of you. it meant a lot to me. THANK YOU! The first stay the kitchen gave my husbannnnnnn such a hard time with the specifications he requested on my behalf. days i just couldn't keep things down on my stomach, the smells would just make me nauseous to headache. i would lie in tearz with pain, grateful for the room that dennis picced for us. i had a wonderful view of the city, the sky and nice balcony. the fact i couldn't go out IT WAS VERY helpful & uplifting. somehow the kitchen manager, kitchen chef & kitchen staff complied with my husbannnnn request. taking my medication became more easier, keeping certain food down where i was able to gain my strength & bearing back about myself. The Parked Inn staff members that did remembered us welcomed us back all three times of our stay. this time around we have the pleasure of experiencing their upgraded room. Its style very contemporary. looks as it's ikeja location with some things ONLY SLIGHTLY different. i can tell you from experience though THE ROOM SERVICE IS FAR BETTER AT PARK INN RADISSON than radisson ikeja HANDZ DOWN!! Even the presentation of the food. when we stay at a hotel we order room service EVERY SINGLE DAY. we gave it two tries, EVERYONE has a bad day right? the 2nd time we just gave up on room service. everyone has their own experience. NOW FOR THOSE WHO'D APPREICATE A REVIEW N' COMPARSION OF BOTH: this is my personal opinion and preference. park inn is more intimate to me. food taste betta, betta food portions and betta food presentation. the actual property is smaller in size than ikeja radisson BUT the quality of service across all areas i can assure isn't LESS. i'm a travel nurse. i've traveled many places have experienced MANY MANY locations of hotel's, resorts, bnb etc & its a solid establishment. i can vouch park inn has many returning guest so that should be reflected on for its quality of service, professionalism of their staff, the hotel grounds with all its amenities. AGAIN JUST MY EXPERIENCE AND OPINION: radisson ikeja is a BIGGER property, with the ALL the glamour. the staff very business like. THEY NEED TO SPRAY THE ROOMS-first stay at park inn they addressed the issue IMMEDIATELY. room service is HORRIBLE!! housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. luggage guys are prompt and courteous. THE DINNING ROOM STAFF IS DEY BEST EVA!!! They are very professional, attentive, knowledgeable, kind hearted/considerable. we have NEVER EVER had ANY issues with them. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME DEPARTMENT AS ROOM SERVICE why the location is like that i don't know BUT THERE would a betta service if they use the same if they use the same staff members!! i will say EACH of our visits at PARK INN we have had issue with our INCLUDED breakfast. They have MANY reviews of others customers who have had the same issue with them. EVEN IF YOU SHOW IT IN WRITING FROM THEIR WEBSITE, they will still argue about it. BOTH LOCATIONS...
Read moreI have lodged into this hotel as an Igbo American citizen with my US passport, over a month ago. This hotel is owned by a Yoruba Nigerian, mainly known as Lagosans. Since I moved in, the staff prefer to see me as an Igbo, whom they can easily intimidate and violate as Igbo’s are usually intimated in Lagos, instead of seeing me as an American citizen that I am. I have spent over $9,000 in this hotel since I have checked in of my American tax paid money. Due to I have filed some complaints against the staffs to the hotel management, as a retaliation, I became a target where I suspected the hotel management, who are Yoruba, have given the staff instruction to violate and discriminate against me, tribal discrimination. by denying to serve me food and services I pay for, due to they believe that as Igbo born Nigerian they are better than me. They practice this tribal hatred in this Radisson hotel where they supposed to treat American’s fairly. 95% of hotel staff is Yoruba and every other tribes are marginalized. I feel violated as an American that in a 3rd world country like Nigeria, in a 4-5 star hotel like Radisson, I am being attacked and denied services that I pay for. I am bringing this to the public attention in case I get poisoned at this hotel, because I don’t feel that my food is safe anymore. I am no more going to accept food from this hotel, that I have already paid for. This is intimidating and violating to me as an American. This hotel doesn’t deserve the star rating it has due to the unprofessional an inefficient...
Read morePerfectly located with access to the mainland over Onikan Bridge to Obalende which is traversed by Korepe (local commercial bus). Easy access to use Uber and Bolt to access local restaurants and bars. Eric Mather, top notch Ona fine dinning restaurant. Easy access to Palm shopping mall, Landmark Centre for Hard Rock Cafe, cinema and bubble tea cafe which my daughters had to try. At the hotel, all staff were friendly, cordial and always keen to help. My family enjoyed breakfast daily in the restaurant, ordered room service which was prompt. Lunch and dinner in the restaurant presented good range of dietary options including vegetarian for my daughter and sugar free for me. I used the bar once, Suleyman who served us was friendly, would have liked his trickery with cocktails notwithstanding , my shot was on point. I tried one of the swimming pools, my daughters did both. Cleaned and checked regularly. Our living space and room suited our family of four perfectly, cleaned and regularly topped up with a spare guest Lou for our visitors. The kitchenette with microwave and fridge was handy to heat and keep our snacks and grub fresh. My wife and daughters definitely want to return which is no mean feat considering their array of cross continents stay experience. I certainly...
