Abstract Ikoyi — Restaurant in Lagos Island

When they said “looks can be deceiving”, they were speaking about Abstract Ikoyi. This place is so much beautiful than what the structure looks like. The ambience is so amazing, the soft music is everything. Environment was clean, smelt so nice, tables were neatly laid.. I was really impressed to be honest.

Pricing was mid range(I’ll add the menu below), food was really nice for the price and quite a lot and I’m not joking.. everyone that visited while I was there packed their meals home(and so did I and my friends) 🤣🤣🤣

Their staff are very nice, well trained and ever ready to help. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is cos we had a tough time paying our bills, the POS wouldn’t work and there was no network to make transfers. We had to book an Uber with one of the staff to go withdraw at an ATM by past 9pm.

Asides that, amazing experience.. I’ll visit again.. but...

I am only rating the pictures ,on my trip in 3 weeks this place will be my first visit . Finally made it to the resturant and museum at 7.15pm on Sunday evening to find out I was the only customer for about the first 20 minutes. Rated the place 4 stars after my visit . Due to location but food was at par with what I expected. The museum was very nice but it was closed at 6pm . Will be visiting again in the next few days to try another dish. Went back for another visit on Nov 1st 2022. They waited for me and provided extraordinary service . Seafood okra was again delicious . Great place for a hangout with friends and family.

Starter was chicken nuggets with a side of yam fries and goat meat peppersoup.

I am a noodle lover so i definitely ordered the Singaporean noodles which was super delish, moderately seasoned and somewhat oil less (just how i like my noodles). Others ordered the exotic fried rice, pounded yam and egusi with lamb chops as protein.

Drinks: Chapman and Abstract Detox.

Food is super amazing, on time, relatively cheap and portions are large.

Waiters are friendly and courteous.
