I was really looking forward to visiting the KODE Museum, but unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by unwelcoming and overzealous security staff. While observing the art—like everyone else around me—I was abruptly singled out and told off for standing too close to a painting. There were no clear signs or guidelines indicating any required distance, and others were doing the same without issue.
What really bothered me was the unprofessional way it was handled: the guard pointed to me and said to my boyfriend, “It was her,” as if I wasn't even there. From that moment on, we were tailed by not one, but two guards for the rest of our visit, which made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome.
To make matters worse, the small wall plaques are nearly impossible to read unless you’re close—and yet I was instructed to stay a meter away. So unless you plan to bring binoculars, good luck getting any context for the art.

Other museum is about sound design, quite popular direction now, however not for everyone.
