A really beautiful open air museum with a breathtaking atmosphere with its pond, its trees and the ancient houses. There are folklore dances which are really entertaining: they show funny dance traditions of the old times. The kids wear really authentically researched folklore costumes of the Molde region and their performances are done in an interactive, modern and refreshing way. Inside musuem has preserved items of daily use and really provides an insight into how life used to be in this region. The outside museum has houses transported from all over the area preserved in excellent condition. They have guides in traditional costumes to provide a dose of history.
