Espresso House — Restaurant in Molde

Not worth a trip. Messy tables and flabby operation without considerable expertise. Day-old mayonnaise on the boards they display their food on. Watery salad on sandwiches / baguettes, that have been lying for a few days without being sold. Much overpriced prefab. The neighbor "Den Gode Smak" is much better. Both on selection to what you get for the money. To have a welcoming and efficient service. Those who say that this chain is there to create customer satisfaction have little idea what they are talking about. They are only looking to trick the money out of Norwegian youth.

We’re on a 17-day Norway cruise, and Molde is our port stop for the day. After exploring a bit, we stopped by Espresso House and had a great experience. My husband wanted an extra hot cappuccino, and they made it perfectly. I had a hot chocolate—it was so yummy and just what I needed. Nice pastries. Messy place. They do not clean the tables. You have to clean the tables if you want to sit there. Below average customer service. I asked for a hot chocolate and it was served not hot enough. I asked them to warm it up and they poured in hot milk. Now I got a glass with hot milk, and not hot chocolate. When I asked to make it again the attendant did not like it and said that they serve hot drinks with their standard 55 degrees Celsius. If I want to drink a hot chocolate it must be...
