Smile Thai & Sushi Restaurant — Restaurant in Molde

I enjoyed the food but the service was terrible and the employer very rude. The concept is self service, you need to order and they bring to table. Table wasn’t clean was actually wet and she didn’t clean, she bring sushi without soya sauce that I ask and forget napkins. I went inside to ask napkins for 2 people she just give me one and start doing a beer for someone. I repeat is two and she didn’t listen or understand so I let her take the beer and decided to pick from the desk another napkin because the food was getting cold and she said rudely you can do that and take a napkin from here. I explain her the situation and she said arrogant you can’t do that. Been too many places and never got someone being so rude and with this sort of atitude in my life. I know that maybe she is just one and overwhelmed with many things to do on her side and having a bad day, but she didn’t had a nice atitude and I got really upset l. Won’t...

I have been in this restaurant 10 minutes ago. Today 06/01/2023 around 14:45 The girl was not very sympathetic but still I could seat down at the restaurant and eat. Very small portion of Padthai and very expensive. I did ask for a piece of lime but she didn't come with it, she didn't even look at me just on the table in front of the desk because she knew I was waiting for. She just gave priority to take away orders but it is a mistake since we all are customers and small details make big difference. We are many cabin crew staying at the hotel every day but, this kind of things destroy future customers. Is not the piece of lime, is the way she did it. The Padthai was cold after waiting. Went there for the first time with a friend. Never tried them before (I was afraid of cilantro^^ - the soap herb), But the new location is great.

The food was good and tasty and a good sized portion. Had a starter and a main, which both were to my liking.

One thing they could do was pay attention to customers sitting and waiteng for the menue and then to order. Took the owner to point out that we were waiting (after we did some waving to get attention). Might have had a bad day. Happens. After ordering everything went smooth.
