Great place with a little high prices, at the same time, food was really good. I ordered duck leg and it was very soft and well baked, it was a little difficult to get away from the bone, but meat itself was very good. It comes with mashed potatoes and some vegetables. It was good for me. A lot of people ordered mussels. Place itself quite stylish with a nice view to the fjord and ferries swimming here and there, it was quite calm. Place has seats both inside and outside. There's also an open kitchen which is interesting to observe. The only drawback is service. Waiters were dressed in a different styles: all of them had branded T-shirts, but someone wear pants, someone shorts, someone is fully black, someone is white-styled mostly. Love Køl! For it’s seasonal use of produce. Appetizer was cod tongue - excellent. First Main - lamb was delicious, but sides was a bit heavy on the salt. Suggestion - cover the tips with foil. Second main - Haddock fish and veg, but sides a bit heavy with salt. The micro herbs just add a heighten umami. The location is great, in front of the fjordsand the atmosphere is great for dates and groups. The service was great but slow, waiters were always checking that you are ok with food and drinks. The food was high-quality, tasty and well presented. My only complaint could be the price, more than 1000 KR (~100 USD) in a dinner for 2 with no alcohol it's very expensive.
