delSol — Attraction in Asuncion

Went here on foot 6 months ago and yesterday we were there for the second time with the moped, no above-ground parking spaces available, only underground, it was too much work for us, so my wife only wanted to spend 2 minutes on the edge of "Forever21" there I was because of my probably mistaken for a Paraguayan and banned by the security staff on the grounds that the 10 meter wide entrance must remain free and not even narrow mopeds are allowed to stop here! Although the area was clearly marked as a parking area! When my blond wife came back, he probably realized that we were foreigners too and wanted to approach us to correct himself, but we drove away quickly on purpose. It was a harassment, because probably only tourists are wanted there, ok, you can accept that, but the astronomical moon prices in US dollars and the complex parking in the underground car park will deter many customers. We won't visit this mall again!!!! There are also much better shopping malls in Asuncion and the surrounding area! Who seeks...

Large, high-end, well known shopping center with a supermarket, lots of store, cafes and restaurants. While very elegant and perfectly clean and maintained, you can find stores, and especially restaurants at all price points (from fast food chains in the food hall to high-end Italian and French restaurants). It is not "elitist" as there are not the top luxury brands (no Hermes, Luis Vuitton, Loro Piana and so on), but rather Nike, Samsonite and so on. The mall itself is very pleasant, with lots of natural light, large spaces to walk between stores and a wooden ceiling that gives it warmth. The supermarket inside also looks and feel very fancy, but actually has very competitive prices on a lot of items. In the Paraguayan hot summer days the air conditioned interior (cool, but not cold) is also a blessing. Two large parking lots, one at the front and one at the rear, make it also very convenient to come by car....

A large mall with a huge range of shops covering two floors. Plenty of clothing stores including sports, casual wear and more formal clothes. Lots of other shops to including a couple of well-stocked bookshops offering titles in both English and Spanish. Huge choice of eateries too, everything from KFC and Burger King to Chinese, Sushi and more. Lots of cafes available to stop and get a coffee or tea from.
