LAS LOMAS Casa Hotel — Hotel in Asuncion

We stayed in Las Lomas Casa Hotel close to the Galeria and Shopping del Sol. Standard king bed room. This is a Paraguayan house made of stone that has been converted into a hotel. Our room was basic but functional and comfortable.||The Good...bed was on the firmer side but comfortable, pillow selection, a/c functioning, breakfast, and the beautiful outdoor patio area.||The not so good...signage to the hotel is lacking, especially for the entrance to the parking area in the back (unmarked green portón) which is on the street behind the hotel (hotel spans the block front to back). Also, front desk was not always responsive to whatsapp messages or calls to open the gate. The only other things I can find to complain about are small (room details/cosmetic).||They have a restaurant connected to the hotel called Musiú, but we didn't try it. It is definitely upscale with guests dressing their very best and was packed on Friday and Saturday nights. I would consider Las Lomas Casa Hotel for a future stay...

Although a little late, I wanted to write this review, as we stayed here multiple times in 2021: January and May/June. It is always our first night in Asunción straight from the airport. The first time I booked day-of, so very last minute that security had to show us to our room at midnight, but he made sure we got checked in! ||When we returned it was just as lovely and comfortable as before. They have a beautiful courtyard and also a restaurant attached. I would highly recommend this hotel if you need a safe place to stay when in the city, and it also needs to be noted that they were so professional when operating during the difficult times of the pandemic.|Muchísimas gracias...

Location is great. You are close to a couple of shopping malls and restaurants. All walking distance. The service from the initial check in through the hotel employees within the various areas of the hotel were always willing to go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Pedro at the restaurant along with others in his team, were always there to make sure we had all info to make our trip pleasurable. Breakfast is included and although it was a bit limited in its variety, it wasn’t at all bad. Great pool and patio area to relax and have a drink....
