We came to this restaurant mainly due to the lack of decent dining options in this city. Its location, story, and online reviews caught our attention, so my partner and I decided to give it a try for lunch.
From the outside, the place looks stunning—stylish, upscale, and very promising. We sat on the terrace, which has a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the visual appeal. Despite the place being almost empty, we had to get up and interrupt our conversation multiple times—three or four, to be exact—just to get the attention of the staff. It was disappointing to receive such inattentive service in a place that positions itself as high-end.
We started with drinks and then ordered our food. We were curious about the Ceviche Amazónica, which sounded interesting. While the prices are not outrageously expensive, they’re certainly above average, so we expected a bit more in terms of portion size and overall experience. Sadly, the dish felt rather small for the price.
What really surprised us was the additional 8% “service fee” added to the bill. This might be normal in the U.S. or certain parts of Europe, but we live in Lima and frequently dine at upscale places—this is the first time we’ve encountered a charge like this in Peru. It felt like an unnecessary and slightly exploitative gesture, perhaps targeted at the tourist-heavy location near a major hotel.
Overall, the whole experience left us unimpressed. The food wasn’t bad, but not memorable enough to justify a return—especially not with poor service, small portions, and an unexpected extra charge. It felt like a place trying too hard to be international, yet missing the basics of good hospitality.

Read moreEverything about this place was amazing, although I can’t review the restrooms as I didn’t visit them. Our group of 14 was seated promptly after arrival. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, spoke great English (though us Spanish speakers still practiced) and was very accommodating of requests. Ambiance in this restaurant is timelessly trendy. It was a perfect blend of upscale and casual with a chill vibe. The food arrived in a reasonable time, was plated beautifully and there wasn’t a bad choice on the menu! They’ll even allow you to order ceviche in the evening although it’s not typical to find a Peruana ordering the dish after noon. Some of our friends tried their pisco sour which was delicious. All in all it was an amazing...
Read moreThe first impression is of a nice restaurant with good decor that makes it look upscale but don't fool yourself, both the service and the food quality are of a cheap restaurant or even worst. Very overpriced, low-quality, tasteless food. Please do not eat here if you want to try real Amazonian cuisine, this is nowhere near what the real food from this region taste like. Service is the worst, almost no people in the restaurant and yet they would serve the dishes at different times, they served me mine when almost of the table was done eating. They also took a long time to bring the bill and then take the payment. Horrible experience overall. Do yourself a favor and go...
