Taquito Feroz — Restaurant in Iquitos

I took a motorcycle taxi there and arranged for the driver to pick me up in 1/2 hour to take me to the airport, so first I wanted to check to make sure they had something I could eat (vegan and gluten-free) so I wouldn't have to go elsewhere and not be able to meet my driver. They had mushroom tacos and I asked the server if the tortillas were corn and she said yes, so I ordered that and my driver left. 15 minutes later it came: a flour tortilla filled with sliced canned mushrooms and boiled - probably also canned - beans. Literally nothing else, including taste. The "salad" that came with it was a small portion of plain shredded cabbage with a tiny bit of shredded cabbage. I did not eat it past the first tasteless bite because I could tell the tortilla was wheat. When I confronted the waitress about the tortilla she asked another employee who confirmed it was wheat. There was no apology. She simply asked if I wanted an integral tortilla instead. When my driver returned he had to take me elsewhere to get dinner and wait while my food was prepared, which I had to eat on the way to the airport, for which I left 25 minutes later than I'd planned, and which cost me 16 extra soles...

Came to Iquitos on a Sunday so most things closed early or were closed for the day. We wanted to get an early dinner around 5 pm and luckily this was open. We ordered the La Charapita Explosiva in an Enchilada (Cured Meat, Regional Chorizo, Shredded Chicken, Fried Egg, Fried Plantain, Dehydrated Amazon chili "charapita”, hot spicy sauce "charapita", Papas al hilo, Potatoes Fried and Salad) and the Miyatero Salchipapas (Cured Meat, Regional Chorizo, Frankfurter Sausage, Fried Egg, Fried Potatoes, Cheddar and Fried Plantain). I really liked the Charapita Explosive, amazing mix of ingredients, flavor...

The food is good, they have 5 different sauce and it is tasty. Me and my partner found this place and dine in. We both order chicken burrito, it is very good. Second day we wanted more and order through delivery. Waiter is friendly and attentive, speak a little English. Sunday night is busy. They also available to order take out on WhatsApp if you don’t want t to wait, I only waited for 30 mins for my delivery...
