First time here. Service was the best. Got the ensalada fitzcarraldo. It was a sizable dish for the price- it had hearts of palm, l lettuce, onion, quail eggs, tomatoes, and I went with a light oil and lemon dressing.
Travelling by myself and the service was absolutely wonderful. The waitress Yanire understood (through my limited Spanish) that I was lost & couldn’t find my way back to my hotel. My phone wasn’t working very well. She pulled out the iPad and helped me map my way back. I’m a pescatarian, and I recommend the paiche wrapped in bajo leaves. It’s also got memorabilia from the movie Fitzcarraldo (which is a fabulous movie to watch by Werner Hertzog if you are visiting Iquitos). I’ve spent many nights here in Iquitos and I sincerely recommend this place for the food and vibe.
