A westerner friendly restaurants with both indoor and outdoor seating. Despite its advertising, there are no AC in the interior. We decided to sit in the inside regardless as the wall has been decorated with numerous photos and local accolades over the years. The English menu offered plenty of choices but I opted for the Special Local Menu as you could get appetizer and entree plus a drink for less than 20 soles. Read moreEnjoyed this place. The owner, Gerald (in my pics), is from Texas and has family from near my hometown in Louisiana. We have chatted several times and he's an interesting guy. He collects all sorts of bizarre stuff in the place. It's like a bit of a museum to wander around and investigate. The foods good, but be careful of you're on the Aya diet. They have several quality recipes to try, but some are very heavy on the onions which is a big no no. But this place is great for a open diet, I ate there the first time I went to Iquitos and tried numerous recipes.... For a beer, good food, and a great time......

What a shame to serve a Burger like that especially when the owner comes from the motherland of Burgers. Never seen one made with less love and passion. I was shocked when I saw my plate arriving... What a shame! The food of my friends wasn't to great either only the ceviche was decent. So wouldn't recommend that place if you wanna enjoy food. Very positive are the paperstraws... There are plenty of good restaurants around . Enjoy your meal
