Amazon Green Treasure — Attraction in Iquitos

We did a 1 day Amazon private tour with Jim who is the owner of Amazon green tours and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. I contacted Jim 2 weeks before the trip and he was quick to respond via whatsap. Since we had only 1 full day in Iquitos, he suggested a day long excursion into the Amazon rainforest. Jim visited us at our hotel a day before the tour and explained all the details. On the day of the tour we were picked up from the hotel and taken to the Nanay harbour from where our tour began. We visited several animal shelters, The Yahha tribe, chased pink dolphins, swam in the Amazon and got photobombed by several monkeys! Jim & his wife who operate the tour are absolute professionals and provided a personal and authentic tour experience which is exactly what we were looking for. While researching jungle tours, I came across so many companies that I got completely overwhelmed. But then, I found the owner of this agency through a YouTube video, and after reaching out, I felt he was someone I could really trust. That’s why I decided to book the tour for 2 night 3days.

After arriving in Iquitos, I had some concerns about safety, but he was incredibly kind and helpful. Thanks to him and other jungle guides, I can confidently say I enjoyed the tour to the fullest while feeling completely safe.

A very beautiful and engaging experience, 3 days in the jungle in the Pacaya Samiria park gave us unforgettable moments. Sail the river surrounded by river dolphins, fishing pirana, run silently on the water in the middle of the night sighting alligators and see the jungle waking up between the dawn mists and the cries of birds and monkeys, these are moments we will never forget .
