Excellent hotel, excellent property. That should have summed up our experience and would have been suffice to describe it. Perfect location in the midst of the flowery lush green parks of Miraflores. The hotel situated right on the Malecón de la Reserva (a malecón in Latin America is a street running along clifftops), with beautiful parks to take a stroll in or a pedestrian road facing the Pacific Ocean, ideal for jogging or leisurely walks. Magnificent lobby featuring a cushy sitting area, quite spacious, and a Belo Bar (along with a few customary jewelry stores, including the Brazilian H. Stern). The check-in was smooth, the concierge and reception staff very courteous and efficient. The hotel offers its own cars (mostly late model Mercedes or Lexus) for your transportation, with a flat rate of $14. It is significantly more expensive than the local Uber 'Black Car' but much better, luxury-, convenience-, and reliability-wise. The hotel also offers from/to airport transportation for $50 one way. It was somewhat cheaper than what our usual company (Ground Link) quoted, however, bear in mind that you have to approach (upon exiting the passport control area) a counter where your name would be displayed. That wasn't communicated to us by the hotel, so we spent a few frazzled minutes trying to figure out the situation and had to call the hotel. The doormen were so courteous that upon returning to the hotel from your morning run, you are being handed a towel and a bottle of water. Great upkeep and very good amenities. Our room featured everything, from an umbrella (even though it never rains in LIma), a shoehorn, a clothing brush, in addition to the "usual suspects", such as a deposit box, a coffee pod machine, etc. The electricity in Peru is 220V but the hotel room is equipped with both outlets, for 220V and 110V, with the corresponding European or US receptacles. Our "OCEAN VIEW CLUB JUNIOR SUITE" was more than roomy (42.5 m2 /457 ft2) and offered a breathtaking view to the Pacific Ocean (both the curtains and the sheers are operated electronically). The bathroom was very spacious too, with a separate bathtub, big shower stall, and a half-separated toilet area. The amount of necessary toiletries, including Q tips, was more than satisfactory. However, the bathroom's temperature was much lower than in the room itself, and even turning the thermostat all the way up didn't help. The housekeeping was perfect, no waiting whatsoever, neither in AM nor for the turndown service. The coffee pods were not replenished, however, and we had to call for it. The fitness center (11th floor) was great, significantly bigger than your usual hotel gyms. Every treadmill machine had its own personal bag with a water bottle and an apple, a very nice touch. Attention AmEx PLatinum Card holders. As you know, your Fine Hotels & Resorts booking entitles you to a $100 property credit. Such credit varies from one hotel to another. At Belmond Miraflores it could only be applied to Zest Spa (11th floor, next door to the fitness center) services, which we used and were left very content with both the pricing and the quality of the job done. And now to the dining. The breakfast buffet 'The Observatory' is one of the best things about the hotel. Featuring both the terrace and inside dining options, its choices are numerous, the quality of both the traditional products (prosciutto, ham, smoked cheeses, sausages, and terrific salmon), the local specialities, the breads, the fresh fruits, and pastries is top-notch. There is a dedicated gluten-free station and "hot station" preparing omelettes and other egg dishes (including eggs Benedict) to your liking. Superb breakfast experience. The swimming pool on the open terrace is a fantastic experience by itself. Please refer to our pictures. A dedicated stay at the Belmond Miraflores Park is fully justified if only for this experience (which, however, is limited during the Peruvian winter/northern hemisphere summer).

I've stayed in Belmond properties before and the Miraflores Park Hotel did not disappoint in living up to the reputable Belmond brand. The hotel's location in Miraflores is a convenient walk to the LarcoMar retail center where you can find a great selection of eateries, restaurants, and retail shopping. Yet the hotel is also tucked into its own quiet oasis. The property itself is very luxuriously furnished and clean. The hotel has an elegant bar as well as one fine dining restaurant - Tragaluz (refer to my separate review of that restaurant). On the top floor is a pool, fitness center, and casual restaurant where they serve breakfast every morning. The real star of the show, however, are the staff. The housekeeping staff always greet you with a cheery smile, the front desk staff are competent and always eager to assist, and the bell desk staff are available, professional, helpful, and courteous. Our room (a garden suite) was spacious, clean, and very tastefully furnished. If there is any room for improvement, I wish the hotel would offer support for "bring your own entertainment" through casting of streamed content to the room TV. This is becoming more popular in the hospitality industry. Also, the shower could have its own shower wand aside from the rain shower head. Otherwise, the Miraflores Park Hotel is an excellent property in Lima.

This place is very nice. We stayed here 3 nights before Cusco and one night after. It’s very well placed for walking to many historical places as well as the Larcomar shopping area. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Our room was serviced at least 3 times a day. Large choice of hot/cold foods and the views are nice at the restaurant for breakfast. Each Friday the head bartender gives a talk about the art in the dining room. He also gives a cocktail making demonstration with samples at the end. You can really tell he enjoys his job! There is no charge so definitely worth it if you have the time. This is a good choice to stay in Lima. Don’t miss the turtle/tortuga pond out front. They come out around 9AM.

We came to enjoy the rooftop patio and pool for a day. For 40USD/140PEN you get to use their incredible rooftop pool all day. With wrap-around views of the Bay of Lima this is an incredible way to relax and enjoy the day. You also get a 50 minute deep tissue massage in the spa, which is one of better I've ever had. Food is tasty, despite the fact that it can be a little slow (management graciously apologized for this). Definitely the spot for a staycation in Lima! Don't forget your sunblock!

You cannot go wrong with the Belmond properties. We had a lovely ocean view junior suite. The room was stunning. The property is located just a short walk from a outside mall stuck right on the side of a cliff on the ocean. The hotel is just beautiful and the staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable.

I believe this is the best hotel in Lima. Situated next to a quiet and pleasant park overlooking the Pacific Ocean in the upscale district of Miraflores. The hotel and services have a quiet elegance that contributes to its unparalleled atmosphere. Sunday brunches on the rooftop patio are a wonderful experience.
