It’s an absolutely stunning newly renovated property. Had a wonderful weekend here. Stunning ocean views, beautiful room and all the amenities you could expect. ||However, I was told at check-in that there was no availability at the Nikkei restaurant when online there were many options to book, and the restaurant was somewhat empty when I did visit. ||Also was originally given a room with a view of a roof.. happy to upgrade to ocean view - massive massive difference in experience! ||Also expect an 18% tax and a 10% service charge (annoying as not communicated at all) on every transaction, including mini bar and room upgrade. I have stayed at intercontinental hotels around the world and don’t believe this is standard practice. I like transparency in service charges and would hope (though highly doubt) any of those service charges are actually distributed to staff as tips. ||Also the spa costs are about 5 times more than the nearby spas, including at other 5* hotels, without any discernible difference...
Read moreThe Indigo/InterContinental was an amazing experience for first time travelers to Lima (my brother and I). Upon arriving to the hotel we met Alejandro at the front desk who provided a plethora of food, travel, and sightseeing recommendations all on a detailed map of Miraflores. Renzo the bartender was our friend at night making a high-class pisco sour before our nighttime adventures. We had dinner at Nau on the rooftop of the InterContinental, besides the breathtaking views, our waitress Vivian provided excellent service with recommendations of mouthwatering toro and her favorite makis. In total we stayed at Indigo for 5 nights, the location right next to the water and off the main strip was perfect, staff incredibly friendly, and all amenities at the most premier level. Would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Miraflores or staying for an extended period of time. Extensive special thanks to Alejandro for making our trip more incredible than we could have...
Read moreWe booked two nights of stay as IHG free awards and it's been of great value. With an early flight we got to the hotel at around 8am, and the room is ready for us! Nice sea view (though it was so grey in winter), and the amenities are top-notch! I personally loved their gym with top-of-line machines and I've spent some hours here. There is a roof-top swimming pool but it got cold so we did not use that. Lots of runners doing their morning routines along Miraflores shoreline and coming out of Intercontinental was super easy. The bell guy remembered our names and it was nice with personalized greeting.
I want to thank the conceige lady who was able to get a table for us at Maido next day!! Amazing service!!
Great stay and I'll definitely take families back...
