Zimmermann — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

If you want to be ignored and get zero service. This is the place for you.

When I arrived there were no available tables. No big deal and good for the restaurant. Over a period of 15 minutes. I ordered a vino tinto 3 times and never received it.

A table then opened up. I thought I would chalk up the lack of service to new people. 10 minutes after being seated I still had not received a drink, been able to place an order, or anything but be ignored.

At that point I gave up. I had wanted a good dinner and to finish at a reasonable hour. Clearly this restaurant had zero interest in my business. I had a good sized order to place for myself and takeaway for others.

Can't recommend wasting your time here. Plenty of other great choices...

High quality, tasty, fresh, healthy and unhealthy choices, good portions well priced food. The service at this restaurant was also excellent. Bathroom and restaurant also very clean. Sandwiches, salads, fruit salad, pork dish and chocolate cake all very good. Sandwiches not loaded with alot of meat but high quality and tasty. Some very nice tasty well priced breakfast combination choices also that came with a nice bread basket. Fruit juices very good. My one criticism is that the cappuccino wasn't very good. I'm not a burger guy but alot of people seemed to order burgers that looked good during our recent few visits to this restaurant. Pleasantly surprised with this place. I occasionally went to Zimmerman’s for breakfast, ordering my usual French toast and eggs Benedict combo on the menu. The first photo is what I used to get. What I then received is the second photo. I asked the waitress what had happened. She mentioned that Zimmerman’s is now under new management. As you can see, the meal was served in an airplane-style plate with curved edges, the eggs had shrunk and the French toast was served in a bucket. This is a ridiculous serving of what was once a great breakfast. My heart sank. They’ve also replaced the decent mugs with glass ones. I assume similar changes have been made to the rest of the menu without a reduction in price. What a shame. I won’t...
