Jay, the manager, was excellent when we first stopped to inquire about a room. He showed us our options and we booked for three nights. Showers were warm and beds on par with the rest of those we encountered in the Philippines. Shower is with the toilet which is something we realize is common in Philippines and we got used to it! The view is amazing and the tide can be seen to go in and out. I loved the hammocks for relaxing and the pool was great to cool down in. We did tour A and C through the hotel and both were great and the food was delicious (and they accommodated one vegan in our group) Yes it’s about 1 km from El Nido proper but you can get an adventurous trike ride there and back if you want- we enjoyed the walk and it seemed shorter every time we did it! Speaking of which, the resort offers tricycle service (shuttle) to their guests as a convenient way to go to El Nido town and back. The room was very spacious, clean, beds comfortable, shower with hot water. The resort can help with getting any activity organized, at competitive price, no need to look further. The beach is nothing special but it's not busy and you can find a spot easy.
