The best scenic coffee shop in El Nido, not even close.
Hama Coffee is a locally owned coffee shop manned by a friendly local crew.
The atmosphere in this coffee shop is amazing. The interior has a clean and contemporary look that is filled with plants to conrast the cold cement finished walls. Sea view opens to the bacuit beach and bacuit bay that also features one of the best spots for sunsets over the famous island Cadlao. Afternoons here are just perfect with sunset, and the vibe. Mornings are also fun because of the beach traffic of tourist and locals getting ready to explore the islands of the Bacuit Bay.
Their Coffee is surprisingly excellent for a new cafe. They source their coffee beans from a local bean roaster (brazilian beans) ensuring the optimum quality of coffee extraction every cup. Has a limited selection of coffee for now but each one is superb on my opinion. It's one of those delightfuly surprisingly great moments the quality of their coffee.
They have wifi and backup power! Awesome awesome wifi speed and plenty of plugs for those who wanna cowork while enjoying great tasting coffee. I spend my afternoons here working and enjoying the scenic el nido views while still having my introverted space secured. 15/10
Breakfast meals are so good. Starting your day at Hama Coffee is never a bad choice. Excellent coffee, several selection of Filipino Breakfast,...

Got the 350 PHP yoghurt parfait which is basically a tiny bit of plain yoghurt, mainly tasteless fruits and dry chia seeds (why aren’t they soaked in the yoghurt or milk or something to prevent stomach pain and constipation?? It’s so annoying to put chia on there to make things look “fancy” when in reality you genuinely couldn’t care less about the food). My partner got the pancakes, they tasted like every other supermarket pre-mixed pancake but in dry-ish. 250 PHP for those. My yoghurt was brought to us 15 minutes before the pancakes. Usually you’d probably like to eat the food you ordered together at the same time… Due to the warmth the “parfait” sadly had to be eaten after 5 minutes of waiting. Our coffee came a couple minutes after the pancakes. Oh, and I had the matcha the day before which was extremely sweet, so don’t expect anything here either. All in all, great location, staff is nice, food is underwhelming, expensive, and...
Read moreAwesome spot to work, have a morning coffee, and enjoy the serene early view of Bacuit Bay just before the morning rush of tourist boarding the tourist boats. The view of El Nido's famous Cadlao Island is unmatched here. The place is very instagrammable too. With a contemporary look surrounded by plants and repurposed wood clad all over its interior motif.
Coffee is amazing. Perfectly extracted from high quality beans. It has that artisinal touch will impact your day the right way. The coffee shop has partnered with local pastry shops for their baked delights. Coffee and pastry here is so good that's also reasonably priced for El Nido.
Wifi is fast and reliable for work. Table are spacious and has enough plugs to cover the entire cafe. They even have a backup power that is extremely crucial to alleviate El Nido's ridiculous...
