Wow. I honestly don’t even know where to start with the absolute circus that happened at Fun City today, but buckle up because this deserves a whole post. So, me and my friend are there, having fun, literally minding our own business like normal, civilized human beings. Then out of nowhere, the staff struts over with the biggest attitude and says, “You need to leave because you don’t have a guardian.” Excuse me? WHAT? First of all, our guardian was literally still there in the building, just stepped away for, wait for it, TWO minutes to give a cover to my friend’s mom at Starbucks. You know, being helpful, doing something responsible. And guess what it was for? A BABY. A BABY! Not a shopping spree, not a road trip, not running to another city—literally to help with a BABY.
But apparently, that tiny detail was too much for the staff to comprehend because instead of, I don’t know, using common sense like, “Okay, cool, they’re fine for two minutes,” they decided to act like they just discovered the biggest crime of the century. They didn’t stop there either. Oh no. They went full-on soap opera, called the MANAGER over, and then had a little meeting like, “What should we do with them?” Like, hello? Do with us? We’re two kids sitting there doing absolutely nothing wrong. It’s not like we were climbing the walls, throwing balls at people, or running a black-market candy business.
The way they stared us down, the dramatic tone, the whispering—it was giving full power trip energy. I’m surprised they didn’t pull out a megaphone and announce to the entire place: “Attention everyone! We have two UNSUPERVISED CHILDREN. THIS IS NOT A DRILL!” Honestly, the level of overreaction was so extra it could’ve won an Oscar. All of this because our guardian, who was THERE, had the audacity—the NERVE—to walk a few feet away to hand a cover to my friend’s mom.
So congratulations, Fun City staff. You officially turned what should’ve been a fun day into the most awkward, unnecessary, and embarrassing moment ever. If your goal was to make us feel like we committed a federal crime for existing alone for 120 seconds, mission accomplished. Maybe instead of calling the manager over something so ridiculous, you should call someone to teach you how to chill out. Fun City? More like...
Read moreWe are visiting from the UK and my wife is a fully time wheelchair user. Upon entering the venue we were charged 460 for 1 child and an adult. We also had to pay an additional fee of 150 for my wife to enter. After that our photos were taking and we went through to the area to drop off our bag and stroller. We was then told my wife would not be aloud to take her wheelchair in and it should be left at the changing area while my child played. We explained my wife cannot walk and is dependent on her chair to get around. The staff then proceeded to phone a supervisor to ask if we were aloud in. After about 10mins we were then told she could still not enter. We asked for a refund only for my wife as she paid the additional fee to enter. We was then told no again due to company policy because we already paid at the door a refund would not be issued. (I know it's only 150 pesos but this is not llthe point). The staff again phoned the supervisor to ask if they could refund us. After another 10/15mins we final got the refund. There are no signs to say there is no wheelchairs aloud in the play area or nor did the staff inform us before entering. When challenged about this the staff informed us that they have had wheelchair users enter before but they can walk assisted. They just assumed my wife would be no different. If you ever visit this play area with wheelchair users that cannot walk please keep in mind they cannot enter. We will never be back to the venue. The policy's and negligence of this company are just horrendous. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star, but google need you to...
Read morePlace itself looks nice from afar. However, as we entered, there is that unpleasant smell right away. Smells like very stinky feet. Lots of the items are also old and broken. The kids probably won’t mind since they like playing and kids are really easy to please. However, there are a lot of issues that needs to be taken care of, especially the Amoy paa smell. It gave me a headache. My daughters allergies from dust flared up so badly as well. Their eyes and nose were so itchy which means the facility was not clean. The foams by the trampoline area were falling apart and shedding. I was leaning on one of the netted wall by the slides and my shirt was dirty when I got up. We paid for 3 hours but left after an hour because we cannot handle it anymore. There were only 2 staff when we arrived and they were in the front. No one was cleaning even though they just opened when we arrived. I almost wanted to hide in the karaoke rooms as those are the only places without the smell but had to...
