I remember the child in me many yesteryears ago, after coming back here today to attend to my son's Communion Seminar. Though there's some changes in the structural design, The feelings that its more of a relaxing home and a hall where all your seat mates are familiar to you. I felt the same feelings when I and my Sister Jennifer were attending our Catechism Class every Sunday. Our preachers are foreign Nuns that are fetching then dropping us Off every after class. I remember making a diary and put all the things that makes me happy and all those that made me cry and sad. It was a nourishing years for me spiritually and mentally. Like of an ideal home that is not broken.

It has improved a lot through out the years. The Church’s patron saint is St. Joseph because the people of the area used to be lumberjacks. Historical the area was called Trozo, because of the lumbers found in the place. As of 2022, the parish priest is Fr Peterson Tieng, LRMS. He gives passionate homilies and formation talks. They are also the ones responsible for the sick call for the Metropolitan Hospital, just visit their office to make a sick call request.

A historic lesser known church at a sub-district in Tondo where there are also lots of Chinese establishments. The church is believed to be where hero Emilio Jacinto was baptized, being born and raised in the area.
