DeJa Vu Muzeum — Attraction in Gdansk

It is honestly hard to understand how this place gets so many good reviews, and you must remember that sadly many places in Poland get people to write good reviews for them. The price is not at all justified by the quantity or quality of the attractions, and "museum" is an abuse of the word as you don't really learn anything, there are just pictures and rooms with no explanations. Many of the pictures and attractions are things you'd expect to buy in a museum shop for like 20 euro.

The place was smelly, dirty and extremely overcrowded for a weekday, and for one particular room, you had to queue for 20-30 minutes just to get in to see something lasting 30 seconds, which we simply didn't bother to do.

We tried the queue for a few minutes until we understood that certain tourists queue in a crazy way; typically 1 person standig there "taking up a spot" and at a later time like 3 children and 4 more adults in the group would suddenly jump the whole queue because of the one adult holding their spot while the rest were going around the "museum".

As there is nothing to read, and quite limited what you can see, the entire visit takes between 20 minutes to a maximum of one hour (depending on if you want to stand in a queue for 20-30 mins). I guess this will be better when it is not full tourist season.

It’s essentially one large hall with separate corners for different illusions, plus a couple of rooms designed for taking pictures. Many of the exhibits are typical if you've been to larger and better science museums, and I was missing more information and a real focus on learning. Instead, it feels more like an expensive tourist trap to please the SOME-generation with pictures and small rooms with no info.

Although the kids liked it, you still pay quite a lot for a very limited experience. I do not recommend it unless you have kids from 6-13 years old, really need to use up your 49 zloty per person and have 30...

A surprisingly fun and engaging experience at the Deja Venu Museum!

We had heard about this place and decided to check it out—and even though it looks quite small from the outside, we ended up spending way more time there than expected. In fact, we were inside for hours, completely absorbed in all the quirky, interactive installations.

The museum is packed with clever activities and playful challenges, both big and small. It’s not just about walking through exhibits—it’s about stopping, trying things out, laughing together, and getting involved. Every corner invites you to explore, touch, and move. We found ourselves giggling, competing, and experimenting with all sorts of fun setups. It’s one of those places where time flies because you’re constantly engaged.

We had booked tickets in advance, but honestly, it didn’t seem strictly necessary. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, happy to explain how things worked and make sure everyone felt comfortable.

One practical highlight: you can leave your coats and bags in a supervised area, which is a huge plus. You’ll want to move freely and dive into the activities without being weighed down—so that detail really made a difference.

All in all, it’s a fantastic spot for families, especially with younger kids. There’s so much to explore, and the atmosphere is light, creative, and full of surprises. Highly recommended if...

Muzeum przenosi nas w zaczarowany świat iluzji, magii, czegoś zaskakującego i nieprawdopodobnego.. Rozum mówi nam , że to niemożliwe, a okazuje się, że zmysły tak łatwo wprowadzają nas w błąd. Tunel wirowy mimo stabilności powoduje, że błędnik szaleje i wszystko wokół nas razem z nami się kręci... Znikające krzesło...- patrzymy na ciebie w lustrze, a po chwili okazuje się, że ... siedzimy w powietrzu... To oczywiście parę dla przykładu magicznych złudzeń udowadniających nam, jak można odszukać nasz mózg

Mimo niewielkiej przestrzeni- muzeum oferuje wiele magicznych chwil zadziwiających nie tylko dzieci, ale również dorosłych. Jest też kilka stanowisk z układankami w formie drewnianych puzzli, bilardowych kul, których ułożenie okazuje się... intrygujące.

Fascynujące pomieszczenia z lustrami, inne - z wrażeniem pobytu w kosmosie, pośrodku szalejącej burzy itp. Galeria kilkunastu obrazów będących kopiami dzieł mistrzów malarskich z interesującymi złudzeniami...

Piaskownica interaktywna, która pozwala nam tworzyć zmienne kolorowe struktury ziemi, kontynentów, mórz..

Muzeum czynne codziennie od godziny 10.00 - 18.00, w weekendy do 20.00. Cena dla osoby dorosłej 49,00 zł. Bilety ulgowe 42 zł. obejmują jedynie dzieci, i osoby uczące się. Nie ma ulg dla emerytów.. No cóż, nie jest to może tania przyjemność, ale mimo wszystko polecam wybranie się do Muzeum Iluzji.

Miła obsługa postara się wytłumaczyć nam niektóre zjawiska , o co w nich chodzi ..

Czas pobytu nie jest ograniczony. Sądzę, że przeciętny czas obejrzenia eksponatów może zająć około 1-1,5 godziny. Może potrwać dłużej, jeżeli zajmiemy się układankami.. I będziemy chcieli udowodnić sobie, że jednak ...damy radę "-)
