Przepiękny halowy, gotycki kościół w samym centrum Starego Miasta w Olsztynie. Przepiękne sklepienia sieciowe i kryształowe w nawach bazyliki. Wsporniki sklepień zaprojektowano w formie polichromowanych, brodatych głów męskich, wykonanych z terakoty. Wieża dzwonna też zdobiona szkliwionymi elementami terakoty - ma 8 kondygnacji oddzielonych w dolnej partii fryzami ceramicznymi a wyżej tynkowanymi fryzami opaskowymi. Obecny neogotycki wystrój pochodzi z końca XIX wieku. W belce tęczowej nawy głównej znajduje się ponadnaturalnej wielkości krucyfiks, wyrzeźbiony w 1680 r. przez Izaaka Rigę z Królewca. The vault supports are designed in the form of polychrome bearded male heads, made of terracotta. The bell tower is also decorated with glazed terracotta elements - it has 8 stories separated by ceramic friezes in the lower part and plaster band friezes above. The current neo-Gothic decoration dates from the late 19th century. In the nave's rainbow beam is an oversized crucifix, carved in 1680 by Isaac Riga of Königsberg. Die Gewölbestützen sind in Form von polychromen, bärtigen Männerköpfen aus Terrakotta gestaltet. Bella cattedrale, ispira raccoglimento e nasconde dettagli artistici molto interessanti. La Madonna in stile bizantino, nella parte laterale sinistra, impreziosisce l'ambiente così come ho notato in più cattedrali polacche, il crocefisso, di dimensione importante, sospeso nell'abside centrale che fa da primo piano a tutta la visuale, a dire che ovunque si volge lo sguardo, si incontra il mistero della croce. La statua del Cristo avvilito l'ho trovata di una umanità indicibile: rappresenta tutti noi, attraversati dalle prove e dai dolori dell'esistenza, che ci ritroviamo accasciati, affranti, senza via d'uscita.
