Planetarium. W. Dziewulskiego — Attraction in Toruń

I would not really recommend this place. In my humble opinion the management really needs to rethink what's on offer as what they do offer is not of good quality at all. We visited the place as a party of two adults and two kids age 9. We bought tickets for the show How to become an astronomer and to the Mars Base 17 experience - both very average - I'd better spent that money at a local restaurant or on local gingerbread men 🤔 The movie was of a 2nd class quality, the headphones were not always working and the sound was either breaking or muffled. Only certain seats are available for visitors with headphones. The show was quite long and I dozed off 🤭 and kids were bored after 30mins into it. But the Mars Base 17 experience was just a rip off - one room with some interactive activities but the screens were often not responsive when trying to change the language from Polish to English (btw, no other language options 😬) or make a selection. Only two activities for the kids that require manual skills (something that the kids always enjoy) and thus queues to these two tables. I fels stuck in there for way too long. I asked the member of staff, that was just standing there gazing at his phone rather than being of any assistance, if that was it and he responded that there was another room but we never got there or even get the option to go there. Not to mention, that the staff was rude towards my children asking them, not in a polite manner, not to play whilst we were waitng 25 mins to enter the Mars Base 17 exp. at 4.15pm after the previous show ended. There is NOTHING for the kids to "kill the time" whilst waiting there and only inexperienced and child-free person would expect the children to stand still in the queue. It’s impossible to pay by card and by the time we managed to find a place to get the cash from, all the spots in English were already sold for the show we wanted to see(apparently limited to 60 earphones). Ultimately we travelled from gdansk for nothing. They might show screenings of what might happen in the future, but they all still exist in the Middle Ages. To console ourselves we went to Geode exhibition, and were told that the leaflet explains everything and it’s ok for non polish speakers. Miejsce w Toruniu którego nie wolno nie odwiedzić. Urokliwy cylindryczny budynek z czerwonej cegły położony w obrębie Starego Miasta od razu zwraca uwagę niepospolitym kształtem i zadaszeniem. Na wejściu dwie kasy po prawej i lewej stronie. Bogata oferta w zakresie pokazów filmowych - warto zwrócić uwagę na godziny wejść i repertuar. Każdy z pokazów płatny osobno. Podobnie jak dwie absolutnie genialne ekspozycje : Mars i Geodium. Na sali "kinowej" personel pomaga w odnalezieniu miejsc. Fotele bardzo wygodne, nieco odchylone. Kopuła dachu nad głową stanowi ekran niesamowitych prezentacji, którym towarzyszy genialnie wkomponowana muzyka i nastrohowy głos lektora. Edukacyjnie - rewelacja. Prosty przystępny jezyk, ciekawy materiał. Błagam ludzie - wchodzicie -, nie szeleśćcie papierkami, odpuścicie sobie na te pół godziny ploteczki i zabawy elektroniką. To psuje klimat i przeszkadza innym. Jeśli nie umiecie wychować dzieci żeby nie biegały i nie rozmawiały - nie zabierajcie tutaj. Byliśmy na kilku seansach - na różnych pokazach, byłam zniesmaczona jak się potrafią zachować niektórzy ludzie. A jeśli już musicie iść z dziećmi - idźcie na seans dla nich dedykowany. Poza wspaniałymi pokazami - polecam obie wspomniane ekspozycje. Każda ma osobne bilety i osobne godziny wejść. Ekspozycja Mars znajduje się w budynku cylindrycznym, natomiast do Geodium wchodzi się do budynku na przeciwko. Obie są interaktywne, pozwalają wielu rzeczy spróbować samemu, dotknąć, poznać zrozumieć. Warto to wziąść pod uwagę planując skorzystać z więcej niż jednej atrakcji obiektu. W hollu glównym- stoisko z mnóstwem rewelacyjnych pamiątek związanych z kosmosem. Co do biletów - proponuje wcześniejszy zakup, ilość miejsc jest ograniczona i w "godzinach szczytu" może się okazać, że się...
