The White Pavilion — Attraction in Warsaw

a really nice bit of classic architecture which has been well maintained. when we were there, there was not many people here even though it was mid summer and the main city was full of tourists. A really nice park to relax in, grab a coffee, ice cream and lounge around...

Jak sama nazwa wskazuje budowla jest cała biała, co ja wyróżnia od innych tu zbudowanych. Jak czytamy z historii to pierwsza budowla zbudowana na polecenie króla Stanisława. Powstała jeszcze w XVIII w. Budowla na planie kwadratu przeznaczona była jako letni domek podmiejski. W środku są jadalnia, bawialnia, sypialnia, gabinet ośmiokątny i inne. Willa ma grube mury co miało chronić przed bagnistym terem. Przy Białym Domku biegnie do Pałacu promenada królewska. Jak czytamy w domku białym mieszkał na wygnaniu król Francji Ludwik XVIII.
