Sirenka — Restaurant in Warsaw

The new owners have done a great job refurbing was a run down but architecturally interesting 70s pavillion into something quite funky, making the most of it's mod century charm.

I normally just pop in for a drink when walking through the park. I don't do sweet and most of the savoury on the menu seem to be meals over snacks. I look forward to a few more people discovering it to amp the atmosphere, which is a bit quiet. The staff seemed nice, and unlike the challenge getting service or paying in the other Łazienki cafes here you just walk up to the counter, which I much prefer.

I suspect the place needs to find its groove in terms of I'm not too sure who they are aiming at Vs who.walks by. I noticed my card was charged to Costa Coffee and tbh I'd probably appreciate if their display had a selection of sandwiches and different kinds of snacks over a couple old school Polish cakes which didn't have sex appeal.

My one gripe is during the colder months sometimes I turned up and it was open, sometimes it was closed and I could really understand why/ signage was unclear.

Worth mentioning it's not in the main part of Łazienki, but just north between Agrykola and the steps up to Palac Ujazdowska. Parents can keep an eye on their kids at the playground across the path and it's next to some volleyball and...

Interested in the interior of the place, decided to go in and have a coffee.

I couldn't find the price for the coffee, so after actually paying, I realized that a small cappuccino cost me 14 zlotys. I didn't really like the coffee itself, they made boiling water + didn't whip the milk properly, because of this the drink is more like an Americano with milk.

І took a chocolate cupcake. Although the outside was dry (because it stands in a dry place), the inside was very tender and tasty. It will be just right for chocolate lovers.

I also encountered an unpleasant customer orientation towards me. I came first, another person came after me, I was asked to wait, and then after that they started serving the person who came after me first. Also, the girl who asked me to wait didn't pay attention to me (but I'm also a customer), because she was probably more interested in chatting with other guests than...

The location is ideal, perfectly situated for convenience. We tried the scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict, but honestly, we've had better elsewhere. The coffee was also underwhelming. Perhaps our expectations were too high given the prime location.
