Very unpleasant – tourists clearly not welcome here. When approaching the reception, I politely asked if the staff member spoke English before launching into my questions (in Poland this is usually a practical first step, as many people don’t). Instead of a simple yes/no, the receptionist looked immediately insulted, as if the mere suggestion of English was an offense.
She did answer my questions, but with visible dislike, minimal effort, and the air of someone forced to entertain an unwanted guest. The highlight of this hospitality came when a Polish woman barged right in, talked over me, and—without hesitation—the receptionist turned her full attention to her, leaving me mid-sentence. The excuse? “She’s late for a film.” Fair enough, but basic courtesy would dictate at least a “just one moment please” to the person who was already at the desk.
We had driven all the way there, but after realizing that being a tourist apparently marks you as second-class, we left. If you are not a local Pole, I suggest skipping this place unless you particularly enjoy being treated like an inconvenience.

At first glance, this building is a former palace with a distinctive interior. On the other side, this place looks modern and stylish. I highly recommend exploring temporary exhibitions because you can feel a vibe of conceptual and contemporary art here too. Moreover, there are unique temporary sculptures and amazing benches outside the building. The gallery is...
