Castle is amazing. You can see in places where it has been restored but it's ok because it adds to the original construction of the castle. There is so much of the original castle, walls & turrets which you can explore to your leisure for a small charge. If you have the energy, you can climb the steep stone stairs onto the ramparts to the towers where you get some great views of the surrounding countryside & city. The museum was quite interesting. There were exhibits on the ground floor from medieval times & as you make your way up the tower where the museum is housed, the exhibits move in time to. From swords to muskets to pistols to canons. It interesting to see where the people who lived in the castle stayed & there are some pieces of medieval furniture...
