First time ever in this part of the world. We were told it would be cold and rainy the entire trip. Low and behold it was sunshiney and clear and the weather was delightful and not too hot or too cold. This museum is one of the first places that I stopped as we got off of the #myvikingjourney and I was very pleased to get a photograph with the statue. Being an #Aggie from #Texas I find it very easy to make friends out of strangers and say howdy to everyone :-) If you just stand for a moment at the Statue you can easily wait for a group who are clearly trying to take pictures of each other and offer to take their picture if they will take yours in exchange. Funchal was a very beautiful and I highly recommend making a trip up to Monte Palace and visiting the beautiful gardens. Please wear THICK socks and heavy duty soles on your shoes as the terrain is quite rough on your feet!!

Visiting CR7 Museum while enjoying your trip to Madeira is a MUST ! I am not particularly fan of Football but it’s such an inspiring place ! When you visit his museum you can understand many things about his personality, his history and his relations with Madeira. I liked the fact that this sport guy won mostly everything and you can feel that he’s a hard working person ! The entry cost is about 5€ per adult There is only one (down) floor to visit but if you are a fan of football you gonna definitely enjoy your time there as this place is full of history. There is a small shop where you can buy some goodies from the museum and Cristiano ! Enjoy !

During a brief visit to Madeira, we decided to check out the CR7 Museum as I've always been a bit of a fan! We also wanted to get some pictures with the hilarious bronze statue of him, so we were disappointed to learn that this statue isn't even kept here!! In fact, one of the assistants here didn't even know where that particular statue is currently located - very disappointing! 😆 Having paid €5 to get in, I'd say that what's on offer in the museum probably seems fair value. There isn't a great deal, and it's only one room, but at least there are plenty of trophies, shirts and other memorabilia to look at. It's all relevant as well, which is more than I've found at one or two other museums recently, including the Camp Nou. In one of the corners, we found a fun little feature where you could take a picture with an active video image of the man himself. However, the second my wife took her phone out to take a picture, a member of staff came running over to tell us that this costs extra. Of course it does. After paying to get in, surely they could at least let you do this for free. Rather cheeky, and all about the money as too many of these places are. Would recommend if you're a massive fan of Cristiano, but not really otherwise.

A nice museum with a very doable price for entree ( €5,-) per adult. Very reasonable and all but the Museum is nothing else than the won cups, some of his shirts/balls and fan made items. I mean it took us perhaps a grand total of 15 mins to see it all and to leave. We ended up spending 25 mins in the souvenir store because it was more entertaining. I mean it’s nice and okay, but this place is literally meant for fanboys of Ronaldo and not football per se. I found a football and a official Forca Portugal Tenue with a genuine sharpie signature. I ended up paying 70€ for the ball and 120€ for the shirt with certification. I mean those were great prices for original items for friends and family. If you are here in Madeira and you happen to come by this Museum it’s fun, but to travel to this place specifically for this only it’s no use.

The Cristiano Ronaldo museum in Madeira. It is just on the marina. It is only 5 euros entry. This is a great place to visit. You do not have to be a Manchester United or real Madrid fan or even a football fan to enjoy this museum. It has all his shirts, trophies and awards he has won throughout his career. From when he was a child to now. This museum is his charity. It is what he is giving back to the island of Madeira and the people. It is a very inspiring place. I visited it with my wife and she loved it as much as I did. I would recommend anyone visiting Madeira to visit the museum.

As the most well-known person to have been born in Madeira, Cristiano Ronaldo is a name you cannot escape hearing while there. One of the all-time great football players has a museum named after him called CR7. You may get your photo taken with Ronaldo and view the various awards he has received over his career. There is a chocolate statue of him. Dedicated followers of the legend must go, but casual travelers also take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about 'The Legend'. The museum, though, should be a little more informative and engaging.
