We were on vacation in Madeira and decided to visit the Casino, as it had good recommendations. Upon arrival, the admissions staff received us kindly, and we really liked the gambling area. We had a few drinks at the bar and then decided to go down to check out the nightclub. The entrance fee includes two drinks, and both the atmosphere and the decoration of the place are very beautiful. However, despite our good impression upon arrival, I want to point out that one of the workers (a blonde woman) who charged us the entrance fee and took care of our coats was unpleasant, arrogant, and rude. We had the same feeling with the bartender at the Gardens, who was unfriendly the three times we went to buy drinks. The rest of the staff were correct, and the DJs were lively, both in the nightclub and the Gardens.

Felt unwelcome and unwanted. Myself and my friend who are tourists in our late 20's went into splash some cash, and we got greeted by a door man that didn't even say hello, he just told us to take off our sunglasses and hand in our bags. So we followed the rules and did as he asked. The lady and man behind the kiosk didn't even crack a smile or say hello either. Not a word other than a "yes". We handed in our bag and hit the games. There is lots to choose from but there just seem to be a lot of grumpy people about. Nobody came over to offer us a drink. We just felt like we where there to just throw money into machines. To all tourists I would not recommend this place unless you just want to throw money at it for the bant as it provides no actual experience. I'll stick to the casino experiences in the United States in future.

I’ve been in so many casinos in different countries, but never experienced such an unfriendly staff as here ! Nobody greats or smiles ,to get a waitress to serve you is mission impossible! Not to mention, this is the only casino I’ve been ,that you have to pay even for coffee !!! There is no mystery prices or hidden jackpots as everywhere in the world ! And trust me ,I am travelling my entire life ! I am well aware the only winners are the casino owners ,didn’t spent a fortune ,but visited 5 days in a raw and hardly saw or experienced myself somebody walking with more than 50€ win ! On top of it on weekends is a discotheque and you have to battle with all the youngsters to move from one slot to another ! Such a potential in the place ,but poorly run !

Opening at 3pm it's a small casino with friendly staff. Don't forget your passports if you wish to enter and play and although dress code is casual the guy on the door needed to check if I was allowed in as I had shorts and sandals on. I think the sandals were the issue but they did let me in. It was just after 3pm. They had a bar in the dome building and not the greatest selection of slots, also some table games. Smoking including vaping was only allowed in a Smoking area just outside. Clean and pleasant.
