Sete Mares was the first place we stopped to try something from the recommended Madeira food list. From the first sip of Poncha, we knew that this drink would be our top choice for the rest of the trip. It was very good, from fresh juice and really delicious. We also decided to try Limpets (Lapas) with the offered side of Bolo do Caco. We are not the biggest fans of seafood, but these snails were really delicious and the bread was divine! The combination of Lapas and bread was wonderful. Would come back and order the same!

I recently dined at the "Sete Mares" restaurant in Funchal and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was good, with a seaside-inspired decor that created a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had a comfortable dining experience. * At the 'Sete Mares' Restaurant's terrace, there are many pigeons because some of the customers feed them. It's bothersome to enjoy the food or drinks while constantly shooing the pigeons away from the plates and glasses.

Espaço agradável com uma esplanada única bem no centro da cidade. Bons pregos Contudo hoje Infelizmente, a experiência no Bar Sete Mares deixou muito a desejar. Pedimos as nossas bebidas, que chegaram rapidamente à mesa, mas a partir daí as coisas começaram a desandar. As batatas fritas demoraram mais de 10 minutos para chegar e, quando finalmente chegaram, estavam cruas, sem qualquer tempero, e sem sal. Após reclamar ao balcão, um novo prato foi trazido, mas o problema manteve-se — as batatas vieram praticamente iguais, sem melhorias visíveis. O que mais me surpreendeu foi a completa falta de atenção ao cliente. Nenhum funcionário se deu ao trabalho de vir à mesa para perguntar se estava tudo bem, mesmo depois de termos devolvido o prato. Além disso, não nos perguntaram se queríamos mais alguma bebida, deixando-nos literalmente abandonados na esplanada. Este tipo de atendimento não reflete o que deveria ser uma experiência num bar bem cotado no Funchal. Há uma clara necessidade de melhorias no serviço e na atenção ao cliente.

Very good spot to take a drink or grab the food :) i loved pineaple "Nikita", ponch, the fish, beer. All was very good and fresh! Beautiful view on the seashore and turistic ships as also the view on the city (especially in the night!) + prices + service + view + food + drinks - toilet cleanliness - sticky menu

#MadeiraExperience Junto a museo CR7, nos encontramos con Sete Mare. Restaurante bar cadena en Madeira donde tomar algo refrescante junto con algún snack es más que obligado. Vistas casi panorámicas de las laderas de Funchal. Si venís de noche es bastante bonito ver el manto de luces “visitiendo” sus montañas Cañas generosas a muy buen precio, como en toda la isla, siempre acompañan de frutos secos y altramuces con aliño de ajo perejil dándole un toque peculiar Pedimos Prego special, bocadillo de carne de ternera con verduras y huevo con muy buena relación calidad precio. Y si quieres probar algo “typical madeira” sin duda te invito a que pidas el Nikita maracuyá , simplemente buenísimo, eso si .. cuidado si lo pides con alcohol, no lo notas al paladar pero llevar lo lleva ! En resumen, buen sitio para tomar algo ligero y seguir disfrutando de esta bonita isla

Die Ort der Lokalität ist vielleicht nichts für Jedermann / Frau. Zumindest das Gelände der Aussengastronomie. Es ist der Bereich einer Anlegestelle für die etwas nervenden Kreuzfahrtschiffe, welche tausende Menschen auf einen Schlag auf die Insel bringen. Ein Plus hier, besonders sonntags und an Feiertagen trifft man hier, meist nur Einheimische auf einen Plausch mit der Verwandtschaft oder guten Freunden. Die, meist junge Bedienung gibt sich freundlich und auskunftsbereit. Die Preise für Kaffee und Kuchen liegen etwas über dem ortsüblichen Schnitt. Aber gerade an den Feiertagen ist man froh, ein geöffnetes Café aufsuchen zu können. Die angeschlossene, integrierte Eisdiele „Bellissimo“möchte ich auch einmal probieren. Sie wird durch die Bank gut bewertet.
