We went up on the cable car around 3pm purchased a round trip ticket. Last car coming down was supposed to be 5:15pm we got there 5 mins before hand to go back down and was told they are closed and needed to take a taxi to go down. Thinking we were late but there were already a long line of people waiting for taxis before us. So guess they closed a lot earlier without telling anyone. there were a long line of people before us. The sun was going down fast and family with little kids had to find their way to get down the mountain. The workers had no concern for the public and little kids...

Read moreGood grief... If you like gliding up a mountain in a little car suspended over a granite hillside, it's for you. Four stars because I survived my own terror. Perfectly safe and inspected regularly I am sure. I was reminded I am afraid of heights. Coming down not so bad because I knew once I was down I wouldn't have to get on that car again. Eek. Seriously, the mountain is lovely, a nice place to hike, have a picnic, take in the views, and enjoy the richness of the area...
