This was my first time at a Portuguese tapas restaurant, and it couldn’t have been better.
We tried a bunch of dishes, but my top three were the Caldo Verde Soup, Beans and Chorizo, and the fried sardines despite trying the entire menu.
I also enjoyed the Sagres beer and the mix of white/red wine as well.
Our server Rui was outstanding — super friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
Everything from the food to the service was spot on.
Just be aware that this place (like many in Guimares) do not accept Google/Apple Pay so you'll need to have Euros if you're not a native Portuguese person that's familiar with MBPay.
Luckily there's an ATM within walking distance.

Read moreCame here as a solo traveller. The place is located in an unassuming and calm street. The service was very nice and they offered to pick out some classic Portugese snacks/tapas for me, which was greatly qppreciated. They also served vinho verde tinto which was excellent.
The food was delicious and freshly made. Including complementary bread and olives and two glasses of wine and a small beer, the price was less than 15 EUR.
