Not worth the time or money. The pool is nice but the sauna, Hammam and relaxation room were closed due to covid when Portugal government said to lift all restrictions. You still have to wear masks while getting a massage. We wanted massages every day, fortunately for us, they only had 1x 25min massage available for an extortionate amount of €48, which was just awful, nothing more than a hot oil rub by someone who's so bored of rubbing oil on people.
There was a note on the sauna and the Hammam saying they were closed, but not on the relaxation room, so I went inside to relax away from the noise of the pool, and was kicked out!
€30 for 1 hour in the pool is also extortionate. The lady explaining the circuit was stressed and unfriendly. And it was so difficult to get just a drink of water!! Finally when leaving they gave us a yellow bottle of Luso water... whatever flavour that was we didn't want it. As people who appreciate good water, we'd like the water the way it came out of the mountain. Luckily the fountains are just around the corner.

Read moreThe front desk person was decidedly one of the most unhelpful people I’ve ever encountered. We went there on a hot Monday afternoon in July and it was a very quiet day in the town due to local religious celebrations and spa also seemed very quiet. She asked if we had a booking, I said there is no self-booking system in their website and I have no Portuguese phone number to call from to book. We went at 4pm and apparently “there was no availability for the rest of the afternoon”. The receptionist seemed a bit racist and preconceived in the way she looked at me and her refusal to help us, as I specifically told her we were only in Luso for the day. She was unmoved and did not offer any further solutions, which as a professional is what you’re meant to do. That is literally the one job they have. I had to translate this all to my partner from Portuguese, that basically these people think they are better than us so best to leave and spend our money elsewhere. What a horrible experience. I won’t...
Read moreThis is a hydrotherapy place, all indoor, not a natural outdoor hot spring like I thought before coming. It was super nice and relaxing though. We paid €30/person/hour for the water circuit. It was worth the money. It was like you have a professional jacuzzi, also hot shower. Just the light in the pool was strange and creepy, changing from red, yellow, blue, green,...The staff were friendly.
If it's the first time you're here just like us, remember: bring your own waterproof slipper or pay for it at €4/pair on site bring your own hair cap or borrow/buy onsite. We borrowed. You may not be that lucky and have to pay. bring the masks as the place was considered a health care center.
No steam bath or sauna was included or available. No massage treatments...
