My favourite gallery in the world! An absolute must if you’re a tourist or a local! The sculptures and ceramics are so beautiful and intricately crafted. The use of colours is unique and quite recognisable!
We’ve been a few times now. It’s so visually stimulating to see the sculptures in the garden. A highlight of our visit this time has been to see the gallery’s work on display at the Bon Bon restaurant, Monchique Village and also at Sagres Fort.
Also worth saying that the village of Monchique is such a nice place to spend a day. Some really nice walks, craft and artisan shops, vintage shops and a beautiful piazza to sit and drink coffee or have lunch.

Such beautiful and authentic ceramic art as I have never seen before. But the most special thing about this place is the way the artist presents his art. You come in through the thiny house, which itself is a peace of art! You really feel the soul of the artist. Then you go into the magical garden and enjoy that feeling and all the little details. At the same time you see the place where the artist creates his art, which is really special!
You can also buy art there for a really fair price! But the entrance is still free, so please support this gift that the artist is giving...
