While we are struggling to learn Portuguese, it can be difficult to get samples to local folks, but Sr. João and Sr. André Leonardo who run the office were outstanding in helping us in setting up a table in the market.
Whole I have enjoyed shopping here fir great local produce and products, I will say being a vendor here was even better! Other farmers and vendors went out of their way to make us feel welcome and offer assistance! Some of the warmest welcome I have experienced on the island, and you won't find better produce! Yummy!
