SeaSiren Boat Tours — Attraction in Portimão

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Seasiren Tours, booking both a kayak tour of the Benagil Caves and a speedboat tour along the coast. From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable.

Their kiosk was easy to locate, and it was just a short 10-minute walk from there to Praia da Marinha where the boats departed. Both hosts were exceptional – incredibly friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. As locals who grew up in this part of Portugal, they shared fascinating stories and personal experiences, as well as the history behind the various spots we visited.

The transition from the boat to the kayak was smooth and well-organized. My partner and I shared a kayak, and we were provided with life jackets, which made me feel much more confident as I was initially nervous about kayaking. The guides were so supportive and made everything feel easy, directing us every step of the way.

We kayaked to several smaller caves before entering the famous Benagil Cave, which was breathtaking. There was plenty of time to take pictures, relax, swim, and soak in the incredible views inside the cave. Exiting the cave and returning to the boat was just as easy, and once back on the boat, we had the chance to jump into the ocean for a refreshing swim. The great music on board added to the fun, relaxed vibe.

This was a fantastic tour, very well organised and planned out. The first part on the boat was great seeing the beautiful coastline but also really informative guides providing background and history about various caves and coves.

The kayaking was superb, great equipment and also felt very safe in the water, there was 2 guides in the water with us in Kayaks and another in a small motor boat ensuring everyone was kept together and safe. We visited lots of small caves and tunnels which were amazing from the kayak and then the main event of the day, the biggest cave was breathtaking !!

We were able to stay on the beach inside the cave to take pictures, relax in the sun for about 20mins which was great, You could see lots of boats coming in but passengers were not able to get off, so kayaking to these caves is an absolute must!!

Afterwards, the kayaks were brought back onboard the fabulous catamaran and we were allowed time to jump into the ocean for a swim, it was really fantastic!

Had a blast on Thursday, unfortunately I have forgotten the gentleman names, however the one who took the lead on the kayaks was very energetic, gave lots of facts and loved his energy very enthusiastic! One of those you can get along with really well, he was high fiving everyone at the end, he made the trip very fun. I wish I had changed to give a tip he was that great!

There was another gentleman who was also on the kayaks he had a lady who wasn't confident with him and he was very lovely too chatting to everyone at the end and a nice manner.

The only negative I have is the boat driver was a bit moody (maybe his time of the month) I am very experienced with kayaks as I live near a very rough river and have my own. However he just expected that I would want to share and when I tried to explain he was a bit of a moody git. However I did very much enjoy the trip it didn't put a downer and it meant when we were kayaking into caves I could take...
