Don’t waste your money! We’ve been coming here for years each year it gets more expensive and worse service. The animals that they have here are kept in awful conditions it’s cruelty. Two sun beds and a parasol cost €40 so we set up our towels in the shade in between the trees, a lifeguard left his post by the children’s pool (the lifeguards are also in charge of checking the sun beds) to come and argue with us that we had to pay for the shade. We explained we were not on a sun bed or under a parasol we were in between not we’re we in anyone’s way he argued with us for 20 mins leaving his lifeguard post empty all the while. So the children’s pool was unattended! My husband went to the ticket booth to clarify if we had to pay for shade he was told no we were fine in between if we were not on a bed or under a parasol. This was not good enough for the lifeguard and following more arguing (and him again leaving his post) he went to the ticket booth with my husband who eventually gave in and paid for a bed. The slides on offer are fine our kids enjoyed them but they had been on everything within the hour and it’s just not worth the ticket price and the rude staff making up their own rules. The lazy river doesn’t move my itself so you constantly have to push yourself or put your feet down and we witnessed lifeguards on their phones, chatting to each other and more interested in checking peoples tickets than...
Read moreI have been to Aquaparque Madeira and it is a decente place to go with the family but the price of €20 per person it is a bit expensive! 😱 The Aquaparque deserves a good 4 stars because it is quite good but unfortunately the restaurant has let me down big time, they sell pizza but the pizza is not even fresh on-site, it is frozen and heated up in the microave, the management needs to have a look at this issue because my wife ordered a pizza and it was cold, it wasn't nice!! 😭 Mention this to the kitchen staff and they took the pizza back and should have given a new one, instead have heated up the same pizza, not good! 😠 Could easily got food poison!! 😡 I will go back to use the parque but won't be using the restaurant on-site, not worth it, that is for sure! Also it wasn't cheap, €14 for a microwave heated frozen pizza? 😬😬 Paid €45 for 3 meals, dodgy frozen pizza, 2 burgers and a few drinks, literally daylight robbery!! 😱😱😱 The restaurant doesn't even deserves a ZERO ( 0 ) stars!!! I do RECOMMEND the Aquaparque but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE RESTAURANT!!! 😔😔...
Read morePossibly the worst place on the Island. Paid 40€ for two adults and child (luckily 4 y/o and therefore free). If you want loungers and a parasol, that'll be an extra 40€ or 5€ for only a parasol. There is not a single pool you can actually swim in, both very shallow. They have large exotic birds, which are kept in tiny cages, apparently at all times except for when there's a show. At least I haven't seen anything resembling an aviary, which I doubt ist something a bald eagle would be happy in... The water is not very warm and a lot of the time, there was so much wind, I wish I had brought a jacket. The slides are fine, I guess. Only two freely available ones are interesting for adults, though and another two if you manage to get hold of one of the swim rings you have to use for them. They don't seem to have any sort of rotation system for them people either keep them or pass them on, however they please. Our kid had a lot of fun though, but so he does in...
