Such a weird experience. We were kindly welcomed bij a blonde woman. When we sat down she avoided eye contact and told us she would come in a moment. She didn’t, a male colleague came. She was gone. Meanwhile my husband walked to the nearby pharmacist. I asked the male waiter a few questions and it turned out the dish my husband chose was not what he thought it was so I said I told the waiter I needed a moment to discuss this. At that very moment my husband calls about the pharmacy product, and I ask him if what other dish he wants. The waiter walks off. No problem, I don’t expect him to wait untill I’m done talking my husbands order on the phone. So when I’m done I walk to the bar with the menu in my hand. He sees me but ignores me. I wait a while and then try to get his attention. He interrupts me by saying; “my colleague will come to the table. “ a bit surprised I return to the table thinking; there was only 1 dish to add to the order, wouldn’t it be so much easier If he just adds now? But I sit back down, waiting for the colleague he supposedly had sent to the table. Nobody came. He stayed behind the bar and just let us sit there. As already mentioned, I can only agree with the previous reviews: unfriendly staff who completely ignore you. You're left waiting forever, even though the place is nearly empty. The waiters are extremely rude, don’t speak to you, and don’t respond to any polite gestures; nothing. The tables are dirty, there are countless pigeons and flies, and even homeless people are allowed inside to beg.

This is by far the most unprofessional restaurant I have ever visited. The worst part is that they clearly try to present themselves as a high-end or fine-dining establishment, but they fail completely, simply because they’re not capable of delivering on...

Unfortunately this place has become a scam for tourists. Be careful of prices as they can change without warning from one glass of wine to the next. After ordering two of the same thing I was charged nearly double for the second glass. I was told it was the more expensive wine, but I was not asked if that was what I wanted. And for these prices service is incredibly slow. As further proof that it’s a spot set up for tourists, the servers refuse to speak Portuguese with you if you are not native.
