Monumentul "Aripi" — Attraction in Bucharest

I was in front the monument and from an aesthetic point of view I like it and it impresses me in a pleasant way. The statue represents the flying theme with the wings and feathers of a bird opened for flight, it's a master piece, and abstract one and remembers me Constantin Brancusi which also tried to represent in a minimalist style the kiss, the infinite, the birth, the woman, the bird but time will show how much value we give to the statue. I see some hatred and negative opinions related to money cost, but how does this became important in evaluating a statue? Do you know how much money did cost the impressive monuments all over the world, this is strictly a state issue, how resources and man power is allocated, then end result which will stay there for the years to come result is important.

For those which hate the statue in an aesthetic sense, instead of nothing it's better to have something, I prefer a museum with pictures and statues no matter their cost is instead or the value or the aesthetic instead of having an empty museum. except the relay awful gross art, but by no means it's the case. Same here I prefer this statue in that empty place having nothing...

The Wings monument is made out of three stainless steel wings coated in weathered bronze, with a height of 24 meters and a 4 meter tall pedestal, covered in granite on the front side and in grass on the back side. În plus, accesul la Monumentul Aripi este foarte ușor, fiind situat la doar câțiva pași de una dintre cele mai importante artere ale orașului. De asemenea, există și o zonă de parcare în apropiere, astfel încât vizitatorii să poată ajunge la monument cu ușurință.
