I attended The Phantom of the Opera at Romexpo on June 13. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing for several reasons.

To begin with, the seating was very uncomfortable — even stadium bleachers offer bigger and more ergonomic chairs than the ones provided. The layout of the rows was also poorly designed; two tall men sat in front of me and completely blocked my view of the stage throughout the performance.

The sound quality was another major issue. While the music was somewhat clear, the dialogue between characters was often difficult to understand, especially during normal conversations. I had high expectations, hoping the show would match the standard of the original global production, but sadly, the limited stage setup and technical capabilities made it feel like a much lower-tier version.

Moreover, the heat inside the venue was intense, and by the second act, unpleasant body odors from people in front of and behind me started to fill the air, making it very uncomfortable.

Lighting was also a safety concern. Upon arrival, my friend tripped and fell because the metal stairs leading to our seats were uneven and poorly lit. After the show, I almost fell as well due to the same issue — very dim lighting and uneven steps.

Overall, while I deeply appreciate the effort to bring such a production to Bucharest, the venue and conditions seriously impacted the experience in a...

No easy way to find a close parking. if you look for entrance C you will find parking slot C to be 3 times far then if you parked in the parking slot for entrance B. You will not be able to carry any decent conversation with the bodyguards at the entrance. The buildings are outdated, big industrial storage aspect. We went to see a pet expo and rare birds and we were dissatisfied. When we went to the rabbits room the smell was insuportabile, You were not able to resist for more than 5 minutes. When I left there was a heavy snow outside so I kindly ask the bodyguards to allow me to enter with the car for 3 minutes to get my 4 y.o. kid from the expo instead of walking 500 m in the cold snow...they turned me down which I found to be very rude...

I've been here for concerts a few years ago, and it's was fine back then, but they didn't hosted concerts for a while, or maybe nothing interesting for me. They're having some festivals paid by the City Hall. Nothing impressive but good for some street food and some live music if you don't have anything better to do. The space used for fairs looks old and has a communist feeling, but I think it works since there are the most important fairs. Maybe because it's one of the largest covered places in Bucharest. But that also a problem, because their courtyard is huge, and if you miss the place you had to be, it will take you a few more minutes (up to 15-30) to go there. I've been late for some meetings...
