Very crowded, long wait so got a ride up later than expected. I only speak English and did not see any sign about closing time and the ticket woman knew I had a disability because I asked her if I could get a discount as a disabled senior but she or the cable car operated never reminded anyone what time they closed and we were the last trip up.

I got to the exit at 5:00 and they already locked the door and did not reply when I pounded and yelled so I had to walk down a very steep slippery trail on rocks for 90 minutes while it was getting dark, and it rained on us. I only had good walking sandals but not suitable for a steep downhill of this kind, and I'm 69 with joint problems.

I would not have even made it down if it wasn't for the kindness of a stranger helping me the entire way and there were families with small children stranded on top of the mountain because these workers are so eager to leave the building at exactly the minute of closure without checking to see if anyone was coming. I was in pain for 2 days after! Irresponsible and unprofessional.

And honestly, I didn't find the view really worth it because it was a very small viewing platform that was partially obscured by trees and there were lots of people in front of you taking selfies so you had to wait to see anything. To pay what they were asking for the total cost of a family would not be worth it to me! And unlike everywhere else in Romania and Europe, there is no discount for seniors or disabilities.

We had a terrible experience with a young Moldavian individual who rudely stepped in front of us without any manners and refused to let us pass. We were simply trying to ask if they accepted card payments or if it was cash only. The cabin was overcrowded, packed like sardines. The staff member, a young male with a Romanian flag tattoo on his leg, was extremely rude. He played loud music on his phone inside the crowded cabin. When asked if he had headphones, he couldn’t respond because he didn’t speak English. Another person translated for him, and he rudely replied in Romanian, saying he listens to whatever he wants on his phone in his country. Waiting time is really long, very old equipment and the accessibility could be improved by adding a lift at the base. Also, at the top, beside the prices being really high, there was no option to pay by card(considering that at Balea Lake they have that option, which is a lot higher in altitude, this is kind of embarrassing). The view is really nice, but again, it is really easy to see that no investments where made here in a very long time considering how the platform at the top looked like(holes in the cement, and at times the vibrations in the platform were a bit scary). In conclusion, if some investments would be made here, this place could become a really nice experience
