Eugénie Beauty Salon — Attraction in Municipality of Olaya

I recently visited Eugenie Riyadh for a manicure and pedicure and had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception to greet me or assist me. I waited downstairs without anyone coming to collect me, and eventually had to find my own way to the service area.

The service itself was rushed and unprofessional. My nail polish was ruined shortly after the session, and it was clear that the technician did not take the necessary time or care. Additionally, no tea or coffee was offered throughout the entire visit, which is a basic courtesy I expected from a place like this.

I also asked to have my eyebrows done, but I was told that they might fit it in later if they had time, despite there being only two clients in the salon. No one followed up on my request, and my eyebrows were never attended to.

The atmosphere was unwelcoming, with staff members lounging around on sofas and chairs, engrossed in their own activities. When I left, no one said goodbye or acknowledged my departure. This was my second and the last experience in Eugenie. I would not recommend it. The place is fancy and beautiful, but the services are pathetic. The technician was busy with her phone and did not do a good job. She refused to scrub the feet with the dead skin remover saying that I should pay more if I want my feet to be cleaned. She said for the pedicure that I have paid for they don’t really clean the feet and if I want that service, I should pay 150 riyals more. She did not even shape my toenails well and just cut them plainly because she was in a hurry. I took the foot scrubber from her and cleaned my feet myself, and she left as she was busy on the phone complaining about her car. She did not even apply cream on my feet and stashed everything away and left . I later requested a cleaner to get me the cream who kindly applied it on my feet (not that I wanted her to do it. I could’ve done it myself.) I have another example of unprofessionalism related to hair coloring and haircut for which I approached them but I guess this is enough for now. I would definitely not recommend...

Update: This was my fav salon cause of their service but i don’t think i’m coming back! Last time we attended our appointment on time and had to wait 35 mins for the stylist to show up & we didn’t complain!!

Today i attended my nail appointment exactly 15 mins late because of traffic and it says on the confirmation msg it is the max late duration,, but i was surprised they already took another client in and it obviously was a while before i came!!

When i asked why since i’m not that late and explained the situation she looked at her phone and said “see it’s 17 mins now you’re too late were we supposed to just not take the client or cancel her session?” with an attitude , like we already were talking for a minute!! She also said i’d have to wait 40 mins at least and obviously online appointments don’t mean a thing to them since they take any client who comes before contacting you!
