Was excited to go to this place as someone who loves brunch and because of many positive reviews. The menu is thorough and has many varieties for breakfast. My toast with avocado and eggs was ok but nothing special. I was quite disappointed by the coffee unfortunately but what really ruined the experience for me was the service. The signs clearly ask you to order from the counter inside, which is already crowded and lacking space, with three people behind it and someone from them constantly running in and out to serve food. I immediately felt not welcome as nobody had time or desire to take my order and it felt like they really didn’t want to see another person asking for something. My partner wanted to order a salad which they unfortunately didn’t have available and when we asked for gluten free options from the menu, the lady recommended a dish containing spelt flour. Read moreA nice friendly trendy modern cafe coffee shop bar / brunch venu, with friendly very good staff and freshly cooked food with good quality ingredients. Several staff speak English which is helpful if you don't speak Serbian (and they probably speak other languages as well). The signs say order at the counter - actually the procedure is order at the till at the end of the counter. It is expensive, but of course it is in the heart of the capital city, in a fashionable district in a now trendy street. The food is very nice. Prana brunch caters well for vegetarian options, it would help more customers if they labelled allegens (like in EU countries and still in the UK thankfully) or clearly indicated the vegetarian choices and ones that can be made vegan. We are not vegan but mostly vegetarian and my wife can't have milk products (lactose intolerant). With a few tweaks many of the dishes can be made dairy free, the waitress and waiter were able to advise on options and checked with the kitchen if needed. I was first recommended Prana by my friend, well know Belgrade British foodie, Ian Bancroft (food & wine writer) but came this time because my wife had seen it highly recommended. We came twice in a...
