First Care Family Clinic & Surgery — Attraction in Jurong East

This clinic don't even deserve half a star. Dr Ng Siew Khoon is impatient and disrespectful. I am not working normal office hour and I went to the doctor in the evening instead so i can be excused from work later at night. He told me to come earlier if i wanted MC next time. I told him I work on shifts. He have no rights to assume. I was having bad coughs that causes me to vomit multiples time a day and its been ongoing for more than 3 days. He asked if i had running nose and fever when i replied no but maybe just mild fever so after checking that i do not have fever , he still prescribed other meds including running nose and fever medicine ?? I was confused and reluctant to collect or make payment for such unnecessary medications. So i refused some meds and the staffs were similarly rude, sarcastically asked me if there's anything else i don't need with a loud sigh 🙄. First and the last . Cost me $61 btw...

Came here as it’s the latest clinic that’s open in the area. As the clinic is under parkway Shenton, and I’m insured w my co under parkway Shenton. I requested for direct billing. However upon checking, they say I’m not allowed to do a direct billing. As it’s the first time I encountered this issue, I continued to ask If it’s possible to try their fax system again (which tells them whether I can do a direct billing) since the list of clinics is provided by the insurer. Counter girl reprimanded that “not all company can have direct billing. If your company don’t have that means cannot” in a really harsh tone If I stayed on and asked a couple of times, I feel, that will be my mistake. But I only asked her once as to why I can’t do a direct billing when the list is provided by insurer. Why the harsh tone lol

Bottom line. I didn’t see the doc. No point going to the clinic when the staff don’t bother to even...

absolutely rude consultation by dr ng siew khoon. was shocked to see that he was even a doctor with how sloppily he dressed. didn't check basic things like heart rate, BP, or even temperature. only went because my usual clinic is closed for the holidays. made unnecessary comments about the patient completely unrelated to diagnosis and issue at hand.

consultation itself felt half-hearted. i don't even know if the medicine prescribed to me will solve my issues, considering how little MR ng checked up on me and questioned me about my symptoms.

counter staff also did not honour booking i made online via NUHS (was available, so i made the booking to reduce waiting time). no apology and even scolded for making a booking online. horrible first time experience overall at this clinic. don't really care if dr low is the better doctor, i won't be visiting again.
