This was a good time, we went there with a wide variety of people, everyone enjoyed it, the man working there was overjoyed, he looked like he had never seen so many people in his museum at once, he was happy to tell us about all the shells and clams and all the other sea-creatures there, he had some really rare ones two, never seen so many rare and valuable small things in one room at once, there was good support for multiple Languages, would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area and looking for...

Definitely recommended if you are visiting Piran with kids or if you are interested in sea life. The museum is small, but very interesting and with remarkable collection of sea shells and snails from all over the world. Guide(s) are very kind and you can feel in each corner of this place that it is a private collection with lots of nice details. There is even a kids corner where they can draw or listen to sounds of sea...

Worth a visit..however, could be SO much better with very little work. Helpful lady at desk explained the numbers on the display shells are not in order in the booklet she gave us. Actually, with a few small notes of English in the display cases it would make the experience less hard work. It was more like a school trip than a tourist visit. A little upgrade...
