Piraneska — Hotel in Upravna enota Piran / Unità amministrativa Pirano

Our stay in Piraneska was very pleasant. We reserved a double room with terrace (room number 8). You must be careful when reserving a room at Piraneska because some rooms dont have a window (you can see that from the photos on booking and from reading the reviews), but this room that I booked has a very big, private terrace. Piraneska is located in the heart of Piran, in a very charming alley. The entrance to the old builing is very easy - you receive a number code that you enter when you enter the builing and the code is the same for the room. Very simple&easy. Our room was ob the top of the building. The room is small, but enought for a pleasant stay for 2 people for 2-3 days. There is a comfortable double bed, some storage space and private bathroom. There is also a small TV (I only found 3 slovenian channels which was enough for us since we are slovenian), a small fridge (which is also very convenient for storing some drink to drink it on the terrace) and effective air conditioning. The batrhoom is very nice, the shower is big. The room feels comfortable, clean and tidy. What I loved the most is the large, private terrace with the view of Piran church. There are 3 chairs and a table with an sun umbrella. The only thing I must warn you is that since the check in is available also during the night there is always a bit of noise in the building and you can hear everything people ate talking because walls are quite thin. KEIN PARKPLATZ!! Wir haben das Zimmer kurzfristig über Booking gebucht. Wir haben extra einen höheren Preis in Kauf genommen, da es hieß das Zimmer wäre mit Parkplatz. Als wir in der Stadt ankamen war am Ortseingang jedoch eine Schranke und dahinter ein großer Parkplatz. Als wir dem Parkplatz-Wächter sagten, dass wir reinfahren wollen, da wir ein Zimmer mit Parkplatz gebucht haben, sagte dieser "sicher nicht"... und zog ein Ticket für uns... Als wir das Hotel gefunden haben, mussten wir erstmal "wildparken". Da wir keinen Code erhalten hatten versuchten wir Piraneska mehrfach telefonisch zu erreichen. Auf eine Nachricht hin, hieß es aber nur, dass ja noch gar kein Verifikationsnachweis gesendet wurde (auf Booking war kein Hinweis dazu). Nach der Sendung von Ausweis -Scans haben wir dann einen Schlüssel erhalten. Koffer reimgebracht, man musste wieder raus aus der Stadt (Parkgebühr von 6€ war inzwischen fällig) und in einem superengen Parkhaus geparkt (ist eigentlich nur was für kleine, schmale, hohe Autos; Gebühr von irgendwas über 20€ pro Tag), dann wieder zurück in die Stadt gelaufen. Zimmer war winzig und sehr hellhörig (mir war Schlafen nur bis 6:30Uhr am Montag möglich). Man hört die Leute im eigenen Stockwerk sehr laut, jeden Schritt im oberen Stockwerk und Jeden in der Gasse vor dem Fenster... Lage ist sehr zentral, aber man muss zu Fuß quer durch die Stadt um hin zu kommen und später wieder zum Auto zu kommen. Würden wir nicht...
