This was phenomenal! I LOVED IT!! Thanks to tour guides Len and Cindy, who were extremely friendly and helpful, with knowledge coming out of their ears. It is evident that they enjoy their work thoroughly and spend personal time searching for more tidbits on the infamous Dr Barnard and his crew. They personally met him and have spoken to several nurses who actually assisted in the operation itself. The amount of information and knowledge they posses is mesmerising. Read moreThis museum is incredible. Being able to stand in the very room the first heart transplant was performed is life changing. I want to be a surgeon though so my opinion is biased. Regardless though, the museum is thorough in providing all the information about the relevant people and provides all the facts surrounding the transplant and Christ Barnard himself.
