Was an okay experience.
Paid a fair amount for an underwhelming croissant with cheese and a coffee milkshake. The croissant was small and the milkshake was pretty disappointing in size for the price I paid (R60). The person with me at the time had the soup of the day which was very nice and seemed like a good deal.
For my milkshake, I was offered the choice of a plastic straw, which was free, or a paper straw for R4. I feel like charging people to be environmentally responsible is a real scummy thing to do, either stick with plastic straws or go for paper but don't charge people for that. R4 isn't a lot of money but why should I pay them to be able to comfortably drink my overpriced milkshake without creating waste?

She was write, we were able to talk about my PhD and also my personal life without being disturb or feeling like someone is listening. The service was great.
